Generally, acids are aqueous solutions that have a pH level of less than 7.0 on pH balance and alkalis have a pH level of more than 7.0 in the pH balance.
When our stomach starts the process of digestion, it hides gastric acids which help to breakdown food. Our stomach's pH balance is between 2.0 to 3.5, and it is highly acidic but required for the process of digestion. Sometimes, because of unhealthy food habits, acid refluxes, acidity, and other gastric issues occur because of the high acidic level.
